The Fiat 500 Beach Cruiser is just one package the Fiat Custom Shop will offer.

Think of it as Mopar with an Italian flair.

Fiat introduced the Fiat Custom Shop at SEMA in Las Vegas. The plan is to give customers a variety of factory-installed customization options along with the opportunity to finance the upgrades through their regular monthly payments.

In addition, the upgrades are validated and quality-tested by the automaker and will be covered under the Fiat warranty.

The automaker will offer a range of accessory packages including interior and exterior upgrades, performance parts and suspension pieces.

The Fiat Custom Shop will actually be located just off the Fiat assembly line. Initially there will be about 60 parts offered, but Fiat plans to add pieces monthly.

While many of the options will have to be special ordered and installed at the factory, the Fiat Custom Shop will have about 150 pieces that can be installed at the dealer.

Free-standing features range from graphics to roof racks and carriers. For performance, FIAT will offer a variety of performance parts including cat-back exhaust, brake kits and suspension parts for ultimate handling.
