Ram is bringing back the Mossy Oak Edition aimed at outdoor enthusiasts.

They might be better served calling it the “Duck Dynasty Edition” but Ram Truck is bringing back its Mossy Oak Edition for the 2014 Ram 1500 by debuting it at the North American International Auto Show this week.

Aimed at hunting, camping and fishing aficionados, it’s laden with camouflage and when outfitted with the optional RamBox, it has a slew of compartments and storage for all the gear needed to be outdoors. The special edition truck was not available last year.

“Ram Truck is focused on the needs and wants of truck buyers,” said Reid Bigland, President and CEO, Ram Truck Brand – Chrysler Group LLC. “Our Ram Truck owners are passionate about hunting and fishing. The Ram Mossy Oak Edition gives hunting enthusiasts a way to proudly proclaim their love for the outdoors.” Ram 1500 owner demographics illustrate a love for the outdoors: 30% hunt, 44% fish, 27% are boaters and 42% are campers.

It begins with the Ram 1500 4×4 Crew Cab Outdoorsman, and is only offered in three exterior colors – Black, Black Gold or Prairie Pearl. The camo is along the upper portion of the cargo bed and lower edge of the body.

Inside, there’s more camo on the center stack and door panels, and the headrests are embroidered with the Mossy Oak logo. Like the Outdoorsman, the Mossy Oak Edition comes standard with cloth seats in two available colors, but it adds in a new option: Katzkin leather in Espresso Tuscany with the Mossy Oak logo embroidered into the seatbacks.

It goes on sale in the next couple of months with a base price of $39,985, not including $1,195 for destination.
