Looking for a good deal this month? The Fiat 500 can be gotten for as little as $99 a month, according to KBB.com.

New car and truck sales are still humming along in 2014, but if you’re searching for a deal, compact and midsize sedans are the segments where you should start the hunting.

There are deals for those looking to lease or buy, especially for the Fiat 500. Right now, according to KBB.com, a 2014 Fiat 500 can be had for as little as $99 a month for 24 months. It requires nearly $2,400 down. However, if you’re looking to buy, the same car can be had for $265 a month for 60 months using the $3,000 cash back the automaker is offering buyers.

“Compact and midsize sedans are among the most popular segments in the United States, and this month consumers will be able to find red-hot deals on the Toyota Camry, Ford Fusion and Chevrolet Cruze,” said Jack R. Nerad, executive editorial director and executive market analyst for Kelley Blue Book’s KBB.com.

“As a new-model year nears, car shoppers will also discover great values in luxury cars, SUVs and pickups.”

The 2014 Cadillac CTS is one of several General Motors vehicles that should be targeted by bargain hunters this month.

General Motors is offering appealing lease deals for the aforementioned 2014 Cruze – $159 a month for 36 months with $1,900 down – as well as Cadillac ATS and CTS.

Both Caddys can be had for $299 a month for 36 months. The amount down for the ATS is nearly $1,700 while the CTS is just over $3,000. Typically getting these kinds of leasing deals puts the driver in a low-mileage lease of 10,000 miles – the average lease is 12,000 or 15,000 miles annually.

Other lease deals include:

  • 2014 Nissan Pathfinder: $259 a month/36 months/$2,399 down
  • 2014 Ram 1500 Quad Cab: $299 a month/36 months/$3,989 down

As Nerad mentioned, as new models roll into showrooms, prices drop and incentives rise on the outgoing versions. The 2014 Ford Fusion can be gotten for as little $361 a month using only $1,500 cash back offered by the automaker and not including sales tax.

If you’re looking for a much bigger Ford, the maker’s Expedition is available for as little as $632 a month using the massive $6,000 rebate and 3.5% financing.

Other purchase deals include:

  • 2014 Mazda CX-9: $437 a month/0% interest/$1,000 rebate down
  • 2014 Toyota Camry: $345 a month/0% interest/$1,000 rebate down

The caveat for getting any great deal is having the credit score to get the low interest rates and the prices don’t include sales tax, which buyers can pay up front or roll into the loan.
