Ford is offering zero-percent financing and $3,450 cash back on the 2016 Focus.

With the auto industry still on track to set a new single-year sales record for the second consecutive year, it may seem like automakers won’t be looking to make great deals. However, you’d be wrong.

It is true that the makers are selling vehicles for an average transaction price that is higher than ever and exceeds $31,000, there are always a few deals to be had and August may be a good month to get behind the wheel of a new vehicle, according to Kelley Blue Book analysts.

“August is a great time to strike a deal on a new 2016 model-year vehicle, as dealers are in the height of the summer selldown preparing their lots for the coming onslaught of 2017 models,” said Jack R. Nerad, executive editorial director and executive market analyst for Kelley Blue Book’s KBB.com.

The website puts together its list of the 10 best lease or financing deals from automakers and despite the continuation of strong sales in July, metal still needs to be moved and the site’s best deals cover a variety of vehicles.

“This month’s list includes the best-selling car in the country, an all-new SUV and a pair of appealing luxury sedans,” Nerad said.

KBB determined that the best deal for August is Ford’s offer of zero-percent financing plus $3,450 cash back on the 2016 Ford Focus. The MSRP on the car is $19,390 while KBB’s Fair Purchase Price is $18,087. The incentives expire on Oct. 3.

Ford, Volkswagen and Cadillac aren’t the only makers offering zero-percent financing in August. Toyota and Mazda are also offering up the special terms, which generally require an excellent credit score to be eligible.

The Mazda3 and Toyota Camry are both available with zero percent financing. Toyota is also offering up to $3,000 cash back on the Camry in many regions, and Mazda is offering $1,000 cash back, according to U.S. News & World Report.

Luxury automakers are also offering deals in August as well. Mercedes is offering low-interest financing for up to six years on the new C-Class.
