Perhaps the 2017 Mercedes-Benz C230 is available in the maker's new car-sharing platform, Croove.
Mercedes-Benz is expanding the trial of a new platform for sharing private cars, following the success of a pilot program in Munich that was launched four months ago.
The Croove platform allows subscribers to use a smart phone app or the Croove website to find a private vehicle that meets their specifications and price expectations.
The service is not tied to rental stations in fixed locations and can be certain of being given the exact model of car requested. It is also separate and distinct from the fleets of shared vehicles belonging to Car2Go service operated by Daimler AG, Mercedes-Benz parent company.
It’s also separate from MyTaxi another mobility option that Daimler has developed for the German market.

Car owners who rent out their vehicle through Croove have an opportunity to optimize their car’s rate of usage while earning some extra money, Mercedes-Benz officials said as they announced the services expanded to Berlin, Germany’s capital, which has well-established car-sharing culture.
Coinciding with the Berlin launch, the Croove app is also now available for users of Android phones. The website has been updated to include some additional functionality such as the ability to upload and manage vehicle information, as well as to manage bookings, via a web browser.
Car owners create an online profile with the details of their vehicle, including any optional equipment.

The person renting out their vehicle can set their own price or Croove can help with this to balance supply and demand. Vehicles must be in good condition and no more than 15 years old.
Renters must be 21, hold a valid driver’s license and agree to register. Once registered, they can contact vehicle owners via the app or website and arrange appointments.
It is possible to either collect the vehicle in person or pay extra for a pickup and delivery service. In future, Croove intends to make keyless access possible. Payment is made electronically via the app. Croove is a what Mercedes-Benz is is calling a “CASE” project.
