Hyundai will reveal the name of this FCEV crossover next week at CES.
The stages are going to be crowded with automakers at next week’s CES show as Hyundai has added its name to the list of makers looking to make splash.
The South Korean maker plans show a new fuel cell electric vehicle in Las Vegas that utilizes the company’s new Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) technologies. Not only will we learn more about the vehicle, we’ll actually learn its name as well.
The new fuel cell EV is the newest edition to the Hyundai’s eco-vehicle portfolio and it will help to fulfill Hyundai’s vision to offer clean mobility to the world.
Hyundai’s line-up of ADAS technologies currently includes rear cross-traffic alert, forward collision warning with auto braking, lane-keeping assist and blind-spot monitoring. They’re called the Hyundai Smart Sense safety package.

In addition, Hyundai will connect its progress on hydrogen-powered mobility to hydrogen-powered applications in the home via a section of the booth dedicated to the Hydrogen Life Vision.
Rounding out Hyundai’s future technology demonstrations will be a reimagined view from the driver’s perspective inside the Intelligent Personal Cockpit, featuring artificial-intelligence-enhanced voice recognition and vital sign-based wellness care, all from the comfort of the driver’s seat.

The company hasn’t let out many details, but Hyundai was one of the first automakers to make fuel cell vehicles available when it began leasing its Tucson FCV a few years back. This concept could conceivably be that vehicle’s replacement.
