It’s tax season and that means tax refunds with people looking to spend them. Several automakers are offering good deals on their slower moving or older products, especially Fiat Chrysler models.
According to KBB.com, three of their top five buying deals involve FCA vehicles. The 2016 Chrysler 200 is at the top of the list with the automaker offering as much as $4,500 cash back on the 200.
Looking for a Fiat 500 Abarth? Now is the time as the company is offering as much as $3,250 on the pocket rocket and the Dodge Dart isn’t far behind with an offer of up to $3,000.
“With this being a leap year, there is one extra selling day in February, meaning one more day this month that shoppers can get a great deal on a new car,” said Jack R. Nerad, executive editorial director and executive market analyst for Kelley Blue Book’s KBB.com.

The 2015 Ford Focus and Hyundai Sonata round out the best deals for buyers. Ford is forking over $3,000 to move the old Focus off dealer lots while the South Korean automaker is offering 0% financing and $1,750 cash back.
“Dealers are still trying to close out many remaining 2015 model-year new vehicles on their lots now that we are into the second month the year, so the deals on 2015 models abound. But this month’s list also features several new 2016 model-year cars and SUVs, meaning there’s something for just about everyone.”
The deals are just for buying a car, they’re also available on leases with the 2016 Buick Enclave giving buyers the best deal, according to the website. Buick’s full-size crossover can be had for $319 a month for 39 months with a little over $1,800 down.

This deal, which KBB.com rated as the best one in February, comes as Buick had its best January retail performance in 13 years with deliveries up 45%, the automaker said. The brand’s crossover sales were up 24%, but the Enclave was up just 5.6% for the month.
The Buick is the only full-size vehicle on the list, which shows that the low gas prices continue to impact the buying preferences of new vehicle shoppers. However, makers are still predicting big sales and these deals are part of the reason why.
“GM began 2016 in very strong competitive position,” said Kurt McNeil, GM’s U.S. vice president of sales operations. “We built on that momentum in January, with Chevrolet, Buick and GMC outperforming the retail industry by a wide margin. In fact, Chevrolet continues to grow faster than any other full-line brand.”

Ford is offering a deal on the 2016 Fusion: $169 a month for three years with $2,309 as a down payment. The Acura ILX, Chevy Trax and Toyota Corolla – all 2016 models – round out the list with monthly payments of $229, $199 and $149 a month with a required down payment. All of these deals are available through the end of February, KBB.com said.
