The 2019 BMW X4 grows in all dimensions but one, with its roofline lowered a mere 0.1 inches.

BMW plans to show a number of vehicles at the Geneva Auto Show next month, including additions to its line-up of electrified vehicles.

The rollouts will include the new edition of the first Sports Activity Coupe, the X4, which is at the premium end of the midsize class, of which BMW has sold more than 200,000 units.

The new X4 is described as having expressive exterior design; premium interior ambience, state-of-the-art driver assistance systems and latest BMW Connected Drive functions as well as significantly enhanced driving dynamics thanks to equipment including M Sport suspension.

BMW will also show off the new BMW X2: Compact Sports Activity Coupe with standalone design combining sporting elegance with the character familiar from BMW X models; efficient engines combine with six-speed manual gearbox, seven-speed dual-clutch Steptronic transmission or eight-speed Steptronic transmission and sporty suspension set-up as well as the latest BMW Connected Drive services.

Attendees at the Geneva Auto Show will get Europe's first full look at BMW's new X2 M Sport model.

The Geneva show will also mark the European debut of the M3 CS, a limited-run speci.al-edition variant of the high-performance sedan with increased output, bespoke suspension details and exclusive equipment.

Showing off the M3 CS, BMW M GmbH builds on its 30-year tradition of special-edition models based on the BMW M3 and with strong motorsport inspiration.

Also set to make its premiere in Europe are the new BMW 2 Series Active Tourer and new BMW 2 Series Gran Tourer, which are updated premium compact models in the Sports Activity Tourer segment.

BMW's new M3 CS makes its European debut in Geneva.

The new BMW i8 Roadster also make its European debut. The I8 is the world’s most successful plug-in hybrid sports car can now also be experienced with the roof down; BMW i8 Roadster features specific suspension set-up, gullwing doors, a windscreen frame made from carbon-fiber-reinforced plastic and an electrically operated soft-top; both models feature further developed BMW eDrive technology delivering enhanced dynamics and an even more intensive electric driving experience.

BMW has sold more than 100,000 vehicles with either pure-electric or plug-in hybrid drive systems. The BMW Group tops the registration rankings for electrified vehicles in Europe with a market share of 21%; BMW Group has a worldwide market share of 10% and is also one of the global leaders.
