Good news abounds as Mercedes has a new, more powerful special edition Maybach available: the Mercedes-Maybach S 650 Night Edition. This new model takes luxury and performance to a new level; however, it’s only going to be available to just 15 lucky buyers and only in the U.S.
The 2020 S 650 Maybach Night Edition features unique and distinctive black and carbon fiber elements, and it is powered by a handcrafted 6.0-liter V12 biturbo engine that puts out 621 horsepower and 738 pound-feet of torque. This makes it the most powerful in the Mercedes-Maybach sedan in the lineup.

The Maybach Night Edition races from zero to 60 mph in just 4.6 seconds and tops out at 155 mph.
With that kind of power, the new model races from zero to 60 mph in just 4.6 seconds and it can travel up to an electronically limited top speed of 155 mph. Typically thought of a big, comfy and fast, this model offers drivers some help in the corners with its Magic Body Control suspension.
The system features a camera that automatically scans the road ahead to proactively counteract bumps and dips for a supremely smooth ride, and “it will even lean into curves like a slaloming skier for more dynamic handling.”
The real difference on the Night Edition shows up with the exclusive carbon fiber trim in the front and rear of the vehicle, a carbon fiber rear spoiler, and shadow “smoked” 20-inch Maybach forged wheels. The exterior is Obsidian Black and the interior is finished in exclusive Nappa Leather upholstery in Porcelain and Black specifically for this special edition model.

The look if further complemented by Night Edition leather floor mats and a trunk mat in black with porcelain edges, while Night Edition badges also adorn the front fenders and interior trim.

As a benchmark in the super-luxury segment, the Maybach S 650 sets new standards in its sumptuous interior with features such as two executive rear seats with a 43-degree recline angle and power calf rests, front and rear seats with massage feature, a wood/leather steering wheel and leather covered door sills and seat consoles, extended interior ambient lighting in the rear cabin and rear seat entertainment.
