For 2021, Lexus has made a slew of updates to its SUV flagship, the LX 570.
The Lexus LX 570, the largest sport utility vehicle in the Lexus line-up, is getting some refinements for the 2021 including new tech features and new trim inside and out.
Lexus said its flagship SUV offers an updated Sport Package for the new model year, as well as the latest chapter in the luxury brand’s compelling limited-edition LX Inspiration Series.
For 2021, the LX offers more convenience for the driver with the addition of Amazon Alexa compatibility. The big ute gets some color updates with Nori Green Pearl added to the choices of exterior colors, while Glazed Caramel is the new interior option.

The Sport Package, available only on the three-row model, has also been updated. This visually striking package includes 21-inch alloy wheels, an updated grille and front fascia body-colored side mirrors with chrome accents. On the inside, it includes black headrests and semi-aniline leather trim on the seat surfaces.
The new LX 570 is powered by a 383 horsepower V8.
The LX Inspiration Series can be ordered in two exterior colors: Black Onyx or White Pearl. It comes with black roof rails, black door handles and badges as well as black 21-inch wheels, a black grille and black chrome surround and black fog lamps and black headlight with a smoked lens.
On the inside, it features series-exclusive Black semi‑aniline leather trim with Rioja Red accents as well as a black headliner and carpet floor mats, according to Lexus. The brand plans to produce just 500 of the series, which is available only as a three-row option.

Power won’t be in short supply on the new LX 570 due the 5.7-liter V8, rated to produce 383 horsepower and 403 pound-feet of torque. An 8-speed automatic transmission routes power to LX’s full-time four-wheel-drive system, which includes a Torsen limited-slip center differential (with electronic-locking center differential). The LX can to tow up to 7,000 pounds.

While it’s definitely a comfortable place to be, the LX is still an off-roader. It’s body-on-frame structure is combined with a multi-terrain system to enhance the driver’s control with five different settings, including Rock, Rock and Dirt, Mogul, Loose Rock and Mud, and Sand. Additionally its low-range gearing provides slow-speed crawling capability for handling steep off-road hills and uneven terrain
However, for when you’re on blacktop, the LX 570 also comes equipped with superior safety features like Lexus Safety System +, as well as, Blind Spot Monitor with Rear Cross-Traffic Alert, Panoramic View Monitor and Multi-Terrain Monitor, and Intuitive Parking Assist.
The tech isn’t limited to driver and passenger safety. The new 570 comes with a 12.3-inch navigation display with Remote Touch Interface. The dashboard screen can be split into three sections to show different functions, such as navigation, audio and climate control information.

Lexus hasn’t forgotten about those backseat occupants with an available Rear Seat Entertainment System featuring dual 11.6-inch screens, second-row HDMI input, and wireless headphones. Everyone gets to enjoy a great in-car audio system with the standard nine-speaker Lexus Premium Sound System. However, buyers can go “next level” for the audio with the available 19-speaker, 450-watt Mark Levinson Reference Surround Sound audio system.
