Electrify America is adding 28 new fast-charging stations in seven states across the U.S. by partnering with Love’s Travel Stops.
Electrify America is partnering with Love’s Travel Stops to expand its growing network of public ultra-fast electric vehicle (EV) charging stations by adding to seven locations in six states across the country.
The charging stations, which direct-current, fast-charging stations, will be located in New York, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Utah, Florida and Arizona, and will have a combined 28 EV chargers and be available for public use by early next year.
In fact, five locations already open with the most recent going in at the Love’s opening in Salina, Utah, filling in the final piece of a network Electrify America chargers between Los Angeles to Washington, D.C.

Electrify America has partnerships with several companies. It’s installed 120 charging stations at Walmarts across the country.
“As we continue building charging stations at accessible sites, Love’s Travel Stops was a perfect fit because of its convenient locations near major highways,” said Rachel Moses, senior manager for site acquisition, development and strategy at Electrify America.
“Providing EV drivers with the opportunity to charge their vehicles at Love’s locations will help instill confidence for longer interstate trips and can encourage more consumers to consider making the switch to electric,” she added.

Electrify America is investing $2 billion in zero emission vehicle infrastructure. Electrify America expects to install or have under development approximately 800 total charging stations with about 3,500 DC fast chargers by December 2021. During this period, the company will be expanding to 29 metro areas and 45 states, including two cross-country routes.
