• Silver: Includes everything in the Powertrain plan, as well as the steering, front suspension, brakes, seals and gaskets, electrical system and air conditioning
• Gold: Includes everything in the Silver plan, as well as additional components like the anti-lock brake system, power doors and windows, and fuel sensor
• Platinum: Covers almost every vehicle part with only a short list of exclusions

• Roadside assistance: This 24/7 coverage includes towing, flat tire changes, fuel and fluid delivery, lockout assistance, and battery assistance.
• Rental car reimbursement: If your car is kept in a repair facility overnight for covered repairs, Assurant will cover your rental vehicle up to $35 per day for up to five days. You can get coverage for an additional five days if parts are backordered.

All plans are fully transferrable. To keep your warranty valid, you are required to retain copies of all maintenance receipts during the contract term.

How Much Does The Warranty Group Coverage Cost?

The Warranty Group does not include sample pricing on its site, which is common for a warranty company that works through dealerships rather than a direct-to-consumer model. However, Assurant does note that a number of payment terms are available with its plans.

Assurant’s site outlines some necessary steps for those needing repairs. First, you’ll need to gain authorization for your repair. To do so, the repair shop needs to assess the car’s damage and diagnose the cause of the mechanical failure. Then, it will contact an Assurant representative to determine whether the repair will be covered. After getting this authorization, repairs can be completed.
