The good news is that TheDetroitBureau.com has been experiencing a big bump in traffic in recent months. The bad news is that we have completely outgrown our server. That means we’re going to need to migrate to new hardware — and that will require some significant software updates, too.
We’ll begin the changeover tonight and expect to complete the process by sometime Friday morning. During the migration readers may experience slowdowns and even brief outages. But don’t worry; we’ll be up-and-running and delivering a better products, the new server helping speed up the site and resolve some nagging problems, especially with our subscriber e-mail service.
